Other Notes
In 2021 Flagstaff began using a travel door/swing-down step combination in their High Wall tent campers. The travel door opens like other Flagstaff models, but instead of a step mounted below the entryway on the frame, the step is mounted in the doorway. That step swings down where two feet rest on the ground to provide support for the step. A pin holding each foot needs to be pulled out and the foot height adjusted each time you set up.
For anyone accustomed to easily accessing the camper when the roof is down by opening the travel door (and sliding in a cooler, toolbox, or other gear), please be aware that the step being mounted in the doorway will require a few extra steps (sorry) to get into the camper.
Comparable Model
- HW29SC - The only other High Wall Flagstaff; 2' longer interior with a small fourth bed and two axles.
- HW27SC (Discontinued) - The same 14' box but without the kithen slide-out. There's a bench seat in the front and a straight dinette.
- 627M (Discontinued) - Similar 14' interior and wrap-around slide-out dinette, but in the low-wall MAC series and with an extra seat/bench (that turns into a short bed).
