Custom Double-Sink
Installing a double-sink in a Flagstaff 425D
June 2010
Our customers wanted a double-sink (like those in High Wall units) installed in their 425D. We took some quick measurements and realized it could be done with a modified galley cabinet.
The countertop needed to be raised ~4" for the taller sink and extra plumbing to fit into the 425D box. That required a new cabinet frame with new paneling. The High Wall sink is also deeper than the standard sink so a new countertop that extends into the bay window an extra 3" needed to be installed.
The only parts left from the original galley cabinet are the two drawer fronts. The remainder was custom-built to match the 425D's existing decor.
